We are looking for a Class 1 Funeral Director Intern to join our team, with the possibility of future employment.

Our ideal candidate would have the following skills:

- Understand and practice professional appearance and behaviour
- Successful candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to evaluate and appropriately address privacy and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable communicating over the phone and in person
- Care for deceased in a respectful manner.
- Posses a Valid Class ā€œGā€ Drivers License (with a clean driving record)
- This intern will be trained under the supervision of a licensed funeral director in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) and Humber College.

Requirement: Must have successfully completed the Funeral Director Class 1 (Embalming) program at an accredited Ontario College. Must successfully register internship with the BAO.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Internship

Projected Start Date: May 13, 2024

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, On call rotation, Weekends, Holidays
