The Organization: The Group Health Centre is a progressive multi-speciality ambulatory care health care organization, and is one of Canada’s first consumer-sponsored health care facilities. As Ontario’s largest and longestestablished alternatively funded healthcare organization, Group Health Centre serves over 70,000 Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District residents.
Position Summary: The role enables you to combine your passion for information technology and healthcare by supporting and configuring our integrated health information management system thus increasing the quality and safety of care we provide, enhancing both the patient and provider experience. Within this role you will identify and analyze organizational needs, define scope and objectives, recommend solutions to stakeholders, and implement changes through system build and configuration. This role will work in both the Epic Professional Billing and Claims applications where you will have the opportunity to be trained and Epic certified, a highly marketable asset. This role will also provide end user support, reporting support, troubleshooting, issue triage and tracking accompanied by resolution management with vendors and stakeholders. The Epic AC needs to establish and maintain an in depth understanding of the Epic applications and organizations workflows while maintaining relevant Epic certification requirements.
