The Healthy Sexuality and Prevention Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing health promotion activities geared to adults and youths on the subject matter of HIV/AIDS; developing and delivering educational materials/training workshops to community health care/social service providers, workplaces, community groups, youth groups, post- secondary students and other groups/organizations by request. This position shall take a priority focus on preventing the further spread of HIV among men, LGBTQ youth, and with individuals/groups at risk of HIV related to intravenous drug use. You will also be responsible for maintaining up to date education materials as well as social media communications, client records, statistical research information and in addition facilitate client referrals to appropriate community resources. Actively network with community partners and participate on community committees that involve or will increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and related issues.

Compensation: Salary as per the CUPE Collective Agreement – $23.96 to $24.92
Operations: Monday to Friday – Business Hours, Weekends & Holidays Off
