MEI is looking to fill a key role in our Corporate Operation division. We are looking for an individual to pursue best practices for fleet and maintenance management for the position of Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our Corporate Operations Team. Reporting to the Corporate Cost to Service & Fleet Maintenance Manager, the responsibilities for this role include:

  • Prioritizes and coordinate maintenance work to fill internal capacity within our inhouse repair services, ensuring company quality and standards are met
  • Manages and approves repair services with third party providers
  • Responsible for validating and approving internal and external cost for repairs and services
  • Responsible for fleet inspection, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Oversees the Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Coordinates the distribution of other vehicles with Operations Managers when vehicle repairs are required
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion


  • 3 years supervisory experience in a truck or heavy equipment services
  • Technical understanding of heavy vehicles
  • Fuel handling and transportation experience would be an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance approaches
  • Previous experience utilizing maintenance management software is an asset
  • Solid organizational, planning and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing business priorities as needed
