Councillors Luke Dufour and Lisa Vezeau-Allen will host a Ward 2 Community Meeting on Thursday, March 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Soup Kitchen Community Centre, 172 James Street. This is an opportunity for residents, organizations and businesses in Ward 2 to gather and discuss priorities and solutions.

In attendance at the Ward 2 Community Meeting will be various service agencies and community stakeholders including the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services and Police Chief Hugh Stevenson, representatives from the City’s FutureSSM project and Shape the Sault, the Neighbourhood Resource Centre and members of the Downtown Association.

Ward 2 residents are encouraged to share questions and concerns in advance of the meeting by emailing Councillors Luke Dufour at [email protected] or Lisa Vezeau-Allen at [email protected]. Questions regarding Police Services can be sent to Lincoln Louttit, Corporate Communications, Police Services at [email protected].

All ideas and questions gathered through this meeting will be considered as part of the Ward 2 development process. We thank the Soup Kitchen Community Centre for hosting the Ward 2 Community Meeting and to the residents of Ward 2 for their valued and thoughtful participation. All residents of Ward 2 are invited to attend this free event. Coffee and desserts will be served.
