The City of Sault Ste. Marie is advising residents that voter notification cards for the upcoming election will begin arriving in mailboxes this week.

Voters who do not receive a 'You Vote At Card' in the mail or have incorrect information on their card can add their name or update their information at saultstemarie.ca/election. Voters can verify their information and find their voting place online by using the 'Voter Services' tool.

Voters are asked to bring their voter notification card to Advance Voting or to their voting location on Election Day, along with a piece of identification that shows their name and qualifying address. The voter notification card is not an acceptable piece of identification.

Sault Ste. Marie Transit will provide free bus service to riders who present their voter notification card on Advance Vote days (October 6, 10 and 13) and on Voting Day (October 22). For further information, visit the City's website at saultstemarie.ca/election or contact the City Clerk's Department at 705-759-5388.
