Proposed Street Name Change

The City is proposing to change the name of a section of Shore Drive to Rotary Parkway.

The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie proposes to change the name of a street within the City. The renaming request is for the section of Shore Drive that accesses Bellevue Park at Churchill Boulevard. The City is proposing to change the name of this section of Shore Drive to Rotary Parkway. Bylaw 2018-35 will appear on the April 9, 2018 Council Agenda. This by-law shall finalize the name change proposed above.

Any person with an objection to the proposed name change must write a letter to the City Clerk for the City of Sault Ste. Marie. Letters may be dropped off in person at the Clerk's Department, Level 4, Civic Centre, or mailed to: City Clerk, 99 Foster Drive, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 5N1.

All objections received are forwarded to the Engineering Division who will present any objections to City Council on April 9, 2018. All objections must be received by the Clerks Department by March 24, 2018.
