Family Day operations for City facilities and services

The City of Sault Ste. Marie would like to advise residents of schedule changes for Family Day operations.

The following facilities and services will be closed Monday, February 19:

Cemetery office
City Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot
Civic Centre
Essar Centre office and box office
Centennial Library & Northern Community Centre Library
McMeeken Centre Arena
Public Works office. For 24 hour emergency service requests, call 705-759-5201.
Sault Transit office
Seniors' Centres (Drop-In & Northern Community Centre)

Refuse & Recycling Collection - No collection February 19. Collection for the balance of the week will be one day late.

The following facilities and services will operate Monday, February 19:

Ermatinger•Clergue National Historic Site - Open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Backyard Broadway presents Beauty and the Beast at 2 p.m. Register at saultstemarie.ca/ECNHSevents. Admission is by donation.
Essar Centre Arena - Open for scheduled events.
John Rhodes Community Centre Arena - Rink #2 open for Public Skating from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
John Rhodes Community Centre Pool - Open 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Lane Swim & 1 to 3 p.m. for Public Swim.
Northern Community Centre - Open 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. for Free Family Sports Drop In Day.
Outdoor Rinks and Art Jennings Oval - Open weather permitting (refer to onsite signage).
Transit Service - Regular hourly service. First bus departs terminal at 6:15 a.m. and last bus departs terminal at 11:15 p.m. Parabus service will run as usual. No Community Bus. For transit info call 705-759-5438.
