City hosts second conference call for local businesses to discuss support during COVID-19 Outbreak

The City of Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development and Tourism and Community Development teams will host its second business conference call on Thursday.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development and Tourism and Community Development teams will host its second business conference call. The call will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. The purpose of the call is to continue discussions on available business support and needs during this period of interruption.

“The City of Sault Ste. Marie recognizes the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on local businesses and is committed to facilitating resources to assist those affected,” said Tom Vair, Deputy CAO, Community Development and Enterprise Services. 
 
Representatives from the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce, Business Development Bank of Canada, Community Development Corporation of Sault Ste. Marie and Area, Northern Ontario Heritage Fund, Sault Ste. Marie PUC and Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre will also be participating in the call.
