City Police were busy in the last 24hrs responding to a number of calls including 18 motor vehicle collisions.

Reminder to Motorists City Police have been responding to a number of motor vehicle collisions due to weather conditions and would like to remind motorists to take a number of steps to increase their safety during the dark winter months.

Transportation Fraud Early this morning City Police attended on Grace St. in regards to a taxi fare dispute.

Assault Charges Laid At approx. 6:00 PM yesterday evening City Police were contacted to attend at a centrally located address in regards to an assault. Upon arrival officers located a female that had been assault.

Break & Enters The Sault Ste Marie Police Service responded to four break and enters in the past 24 hours. Break-ins were reported to a residence in the 300 block of Chambers Ave on Sunday evening.

City Police received a number of reports of break and enters yesterday: 1) Sometime between 10pm on the 28th of November and 7am on 29th on November a home on Andrew Street was entered. PS2 games, a Nintendo game and an Xbox were taken.

People to Appear in Bail Court Today 51-year old George Michano of 3-151 Gore Street was arrested yesterday on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court in October of this year. He will appear in bail court this morning.
