Morning news ************************* Arrests On the 28th of September members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Street Team conducted a traffic stop on Second Line West after observing a vehicle being driven erratically.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On the 27 th of September 2012, 27 year old Chicho Rubiano was stopped in a motor vehicle by members of the Street Team and arrested for possession of a small amount of marihuana, possession of a prohibited weapon (flick knif

Arrests/Charged Persons: A 26 year old male accused will appear in bail tomorrow charged with mischeif and threatening.

Property Crimes: A bicycle was reported stolen from the yard at a residence on Wireless Avenue. The bike is described as a grey and black Mongoose BMX bike with green rims.

Sexual Interference On the 25 September 2012 City Police Detectives charged 24 year old Allan Smythe-Lance with two counts of sexual interference. It is alleged Smythe-Lance identified himself as an 18 year old and also used a fictitious name.

Evening Report: On September 24, 2012 at approximately 2:00pm a male turned himself in on a warrant for failing to attend for finger prints.

Evening Report: Residential fire in the 90 block of Churchill Blvd... Fire Marshall has been called in to determine the cause. This investigation is ongoing. * * * Break and Enter: A local business in the 500 block of Second Line East.

A break and enter was reported on Dacey Road which occurred between 8 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Entry was gained through a rear window and a laptop and cash box were stolen. * * * A break and enter was reported in the 1200 block of Wellington St. East.

Evening news Arrests On the 21Sep12, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Street Team members along with the Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of 43 year old Victoria Joanne Czapla located at 575 Northland Road, Sault Ste.

Evening Report On the 20Sep12 at 1220 hours police dealt with 44 year old Ronda Burns of 134 Gore St. during a police assistance call on Gore St. During the investigation it became apparent there were several outstanding arrest warrants for Burns.
