On Aug. 2, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old female as a result of a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that at approximately 7:15 p.m. the accused engaged in a verbal argument with her boyfriend. The argument escalated and accused punched and kicked the victim. The victim then left the scene and contacted police.
The accused was soon after taken into custody and charged with one count of assault. She was held for bail court.
