Woman charged in relation to credit card theft

On Aug. 26, 2017 offices with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 24-year-old April Campbell of Bay Street in regards to a theft from a vehicle.

It is alleged that overnight on Aug. 22, the accused entered a vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of Lamming Avenue. The accused allegedly took two credit cards belonging to the victim and then used those credit cards to make purchases at two nearby stores. 

Officers located the accused on Aug. 26 and she was arrested. She has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property, two counts of stealing a credit card and two counts of using a stolen credit card. She will appear in court on Oct. 2, 2017.
