Male charged with theft
On Sept. 26, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22-year-old Christian Breathat of Pardee Avenue in regards to a theft.
It is alleged that on Aug. 16, 2017 the accused attended a business in the 300 block of Second Line West where he selected just over $350 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying for the items.
The accused was observed on video and police were contacted. Officers located the accused on Sept. 26 and he was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of probation. He will appear in court Oct. 30, 2017.
