A 31-year-old resident, Rodney Saunders of 100 James Street was arrested last evening and has been charged with one count of robbery in connection with an incident at the Queen West Variety Store located at 602 Queen Street West.
A 31-year-old resident, Rodney Saunders of 100 James Street was arrested last evening and has been charged with one count of robbery in connection with an incident at the Queen West Variety Store located at 602 Queen Street West. It is alleged that he and another male entered the store, pushed the clerk away from the till and removed the money. This occurred on August 16, 2001. Saunders will appear in court on October 29.

30-year-old Gregory Sinobert of no fixed address will appear in bail court today. He is charged with mischief to property, being unlawfully in a dwelling, and three counts of break of probation. He was arrested early this morning subsequent to forcing his way into a Wellington Street residence. Once inside, it is alleged he smashed beer bottles and a stereo by throwing them onto the floor. The accused was on probation to stay away from the address and occupants of the home.

Officers attended several break and enters in the past twenty-four hours. Between 6am and 7:30am yesterday
