STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED-MAN CHARGED Yesterday at 11:15 p.m., patrol officers checked a 1991 Mazda Pick-up. The vehicle had been reported stolen by the Guelph Police Service on May 6.

Yesterday at 11:15 p.m., patrol officers checked a 1991 Mazda Pick-up. The vehicle had been reported stolen by the Guelph Police Service on May 6. The lone occupant identified as Peter Chandonnet, age 33, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged with 3 counts of possession of stolen property, possession of house breaking tools, and driving while prohibited. The accused had a wallet and a cell phone that had been taken from the Wasaga Beach area. Chandonnet will appear in court today.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Yesterday at 3:03 p.m., police investigated a collision at the intersection of Second Line West and Brunswick Avenue. It was determined that a 1995 Pontiac, operated by Ida Borrelli, age 51, of Dawson Avenue, has been eastbound on Second Line and attempted to turn left onto Brunswick when it collided with an eastbound 1991 Honda driven by Steven Knight, age 21, of Arden Street. Both drivers received minor injuries. Borelli was taken by ambulance to hospital for
