Yesterday at 4:27 p.m., a red jeep drove over the foot of a pedestrian and then fled the scene. The jeep was travelling on Bruce Street and made a left turn onto Algoma Avenue.
Yesterday at 4:27 p.m., a red jeep drove over the foot of a pedestrian and then fled the scene. The jeep was travelling on Bruce Street and made a left turn onto Algoma Avenue. The 16-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries but was not taken to hospital. The City Police Traffic Office is asking your assistance in locating the suspect vehicle. It is a red jeep with a black hardtop. No licence plate number was obtained.

At about 1:12 this morning, a young male was in the Mike's Milk on Boundary Road. The youth grabbed a handful of chocolate bars and ran out without paying. He was stopped outside by the clerk who was threatened with a knife. Police are looking for a young aboriginal person, 15 - 17 years of age, slim build, 5'9" last seen wearing a leather coat with hood and dark pants.
