The Sault Police Service investigated a number of break and enters to private residences and one to a business. The business, located in the 2600 block of Second Line West had a lock cut off an exterior door allowing access to a utility room.

The business, located in the 2600 block of Second Line West had a lock cut off an exterior door allowing access to a utility room. Thieves did not gain access to the interior section of the building.

At 8:40 p.m. yesterday, officers were called to a private residence in the 300 block of Moss Road. Thieves were able to force a door open and steal electronic equipment. The other break and enters occurred on Glengary Gate and Heath Road.

At 1:40 a.m. today several people forced entry into a residence in the 100 block of Cathcart Street and threatened the occupants of the home who were sleeping in a main floor bedroom. The occupants locked themselves in the bedroom while the suspects vandalized the residence causing extensive damage before leaving. The occupants then left the residence unharmed and called police from a neighbour?s home.

Investigations into these offences are continuing.
