At about 8:30 p.m. on July 12, 2016 city police arrested 24-year-old Thomas Agawa of Trelawne Avenue on outstanding warrants.

On July 13, 2016 at 3 a.m. officers observed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Willow Ave. Further investigation found the accused, 47-year-old Timothy Marshall of Willow Ave, was sleeping in his vehicle with the keys in the ignition and the door open. Officers also observed two open containers of alcohol next to the accused. When officers awoke the accused they found that his ability to be in care and control of a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The accused was arrested and has been charged with being in care and control of a vehicle while impaired and having care and control of a vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood. The accused will appear in court on August 15.

At about 8:30 p.m. on July 12, 2016 city police arrested 24-year-old Thomas Agawa of Trelawne Avenue on outstanding warrants. It’s alleged that on June 3, 2016 the accused approached a female victim on Trunk Road and attempted to steal her purse. In his attempt the accused used force and pushed the victim on the ground. She was able to fend him off. Agawa at the time of the offence was on a probation order and recognizance of bail that he was breaching. The accused has been charged with robbery, breach of a recognizance and breach of probation. Agawa has also been charged with failing to attend court on June 10, 2016. The O.P.P. also holds outstanding warrants of arrest for the accused. He will be appearing in bail court on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
