TRAFFIC ACCIDENT SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL
Yesterday afternoon at 5:34, two vehicles collided at the corner of Great Northern Road and the Second Line. A 1999 Ford pick-up driven by 52-year-old Arthur Callegari of Heyden was northbound on Great Northern Road when a southbound vehicle on Great Northern Road made a left turn onto Second Line in front of the northbound vehicle.

Mildred Bingham, age 65, of Joel Court, driving a 1997 Dodge van, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to avoid a reasonable opportunity to avoid collision on a left turn. Both drivers received minor injuries as did a passenger in the Dodge, Patrick Bingham, age 74. The Binghams were taken to hospital by ambulance. Both vehicles were severely damaged.
