During yesterday's snow storm police responded to approximately 46 motor vehicle accidents from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There were only minor injuries in two of the accidents and most of the property damage was minor and road and weather conditions were contributing factors in most collisions.

At approximately 1:53 a.m. Feb. 13 patrol officers responded to a home alarm in the 1100 block of Goulais Ave. Upon their arrival they discovered the house had been broken into and also found a motor vehicle close by that had been stolen earlier. As a result three adult males were taken into custody. Appearing in bail court today will be Thomas Joseph Fields, age 19 of Campbell Ave; Wesley Raymond Hallam, age 20 of Foothill Road; and Larry Daniel Rowan, age 26 of McNabb Street. All three have been charged with break and enter with intent to commit an offence, theft over $5000 and possession of house-breaking tools.
