TWO ACCIDENTS YESTERDAY
Yesterday evening at 5:49, police were called to an accident at the corner of Second Line and Peoples Road. A 1991 Grey GMC pickup driven by 18-year-old Arron Geroux of Base Line had been westbound on Second Line when it collided with an eastbound 1997 Chev car operated by 44-year-old Norman Quevillon that was turning left onto Peoples Road. Geroux was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. Both vehicles were demolished. The investigation is continuing.
Also yesterday evening, at 6:18, a car hit a pedestrian on Malaber Drive. A 1990 GMC pickup operated by 31-year-old Dino Consoli of Tilly Road struck 71-year-old Angela Romano of Dablon Street. She was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her condition is unknown. It was dark and very foggy at the time of the accident.
