STABBING VICTIM IN GUARDED CONDITION Randy Peter Bier, age 48, and Peter Charles Bier, age 21, both of 54 Cathcart St. are charged with attempted murder and have been remanded in custody.
STABBING VICTIM IN GUARDED CONDITION
Randy Peter Bier, age 48, and Peter Charles Bier, age 21, both of 54 Cathcart St. are charged with attempted murder and have been remanded in custody. The father and son were charged as a result of a stabbing on Saturday. The victim has not yet been identified although it is expected his name will be released today. He remains in guarded condition at the General Hospital.

ARMED ROBBERY THIS MORNING
At about 6:15 this morning, a lone male youth robbed the Esso station at the corner of Pim and Bruce Streets. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded money. The clerk turned over a small amount of cash to the suspect who then fled south on Pim. Police subsequently arrested a male who matched the description. He was found to have the money and a weapon on his person. He will appear in court today.
