Crime Stoppers and the Sault Police are looking for help to identify a theft suspect.

Crime Stoppers says a backpack was stolen.

The incident took place on June 23 at a Great Northern Road.

The full text from Crime Stoppers reads as follows:

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of theft. 

On June 23, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m., while a customer was browsing a store in the 0 - 100 block of Great Northern Road, the suspect allegedly stole a backpack. 

The backpack was purple and inside was $300 cash, an iPhone valued at $700, two locks, a brown wallet, identification, bank cards, and a house key.
