VIDEO: Attempted robbery at Clyde's under investigation

Suspect fled before getting any cash from the store clerk

Crime Stoppers and the Batchewana Police Service is requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of attempted robbery.

On March 9, 2020 at approximately 9:20 p.m., an unknown suspect entered Clyde’s convenience store located at 46 Gran St., Batchewana First Nation, Ont.

The male suspect demanded the store clerk to put all the $20 bills in what appeared to be a grey pencil case.

The suspect demanded the money a second time, this time referring that he would use a weapon.

The clerk attended the cash register but before the money could be given, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Look closely at the video, the suspect was wearing a blue sweater with the logo S&T group on it.
