After responding to a report of a vehicle stuck in a ditch on Peoples Road on Saturday evening, Sault Police arrested 28-year-old Adrian Marcil.
A news release issued today states that responding officers located the accused standing near the vehicle in question and "developed grounds to believe his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol."
It is alleged that Marcil refused to provide a breath sample.
The accused stands charged with refusing to comply with a demand, and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 28.
