UPDATE: Driver charged after vehicle ends up in a snowbank on Pine Street

Another driver was injured in Monday morning collision

Update:

A driver has been charged following an incident that left one vehicle hung up on a snowbank earlier this week. 

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service spokesperson Lincoln Louttit confirmed that police received a report of a collision in the 700 block of Pine St. at 10:58 a.m. Monday.

The driver of a red SUV that was badly damaged in the crash sustained minor injuries.

Police say the driver of a dark-coloured pickup truck was charged with failing to yield under the Highway Traffic Act.

This morning a vehicle ended up in a snowbank outside a home located in the 700 block of Pine Street. 

It's unclear if anyone was injured or charged.
