Vehicle crosses into oncoming traffic, impaired charge laid

On Dec. 30, 2016 officers with the Traffic Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 50-year-old Millie Anne Reville of McQueen Road for impaired driving.

At 6:50 p.m. an officer observed the accused operating her motor vehicle on Great Northern Road with the vehicle lights off. 

When the accused attempted to enter a turning lane, the officer observed her crossing the lane into oncoming traffic.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and determined that the accused’s ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. 

She was arrested and charged with one count of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level that was over the legal limit.  She will appear in court on Jan. 30, 2017.
