Two wallets stolen, theft and drug possession charges laid

Upon his arrest the accused was found to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine

On Oct. 4, 2017 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Break and Enter Unit arrested 20-year-old Christian Tucci of Wellington Street East for theft and possession of stolen property.

It is alleged that on Aug. 16, 2017 the accused stole a wallet from a parked vehicle and used a bank card to make just under $130 in purchases. 

Later, on Sept. 20, 2017 the accused again took a wallet from a parked motor vehicle. The accused then again used the victim’s bank card to make purchases.

Officers located the accused on Oct. 4 and he was taken into custody. Upon his arrest the accused was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin and methamphetamine. 

He has been charged 2 counts of theft under $5,000, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on Nov. 20, 2017.
