Police find two guys, a stolen car, crystal meth, fentanyl and some packaged heroin

There is also the matter of some vehicles being entered on Black Road

On Jan. 13, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Division and Break and Enter Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 38-year-old Kenneth Megginson of Wellington Street East and 20-year-old Christien Tucci of no fixed address for possession of a stolen property and trespass by night.

In addition, it is alleged that on Jan. 10, 2019 at 3:30 a.m. Mr. Tucci entered a vehicle that was parked in the 100-block of Johnson Avenue. The accused stole various items from that vehicle and then left the scene. 

Later, on Jan. 13, 2019 at approximately 1:40 a.m., both males were observed entering vehicles that were parked in the 400-block of Black Road. Officers attended and both males were taken into custody. Officers soon found the accused males had driven to the scene in a motor vehicle that had been reported stolen on Jan. 12, 2019. Officers found the males to be in possession of break in tools, a can of pepper spray, 2.22 grams of crystal methamphetamine, under one gram of fentanyl and individual packages of small amounts of heroin that were suitable for resale at street level.

Both males have been charged with:

  • One count of trespass by night,
  • 2 counts of possession of stolen property,
  • 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance,
  • One count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking; and,
  • One count of possession of a prohibited weapon.

Mr. Tucci has also been charged with;

  • One count of theft under $5,000,
  • One count of possession of break in instruments,
  • 3 counts of breach of probation; and,
  • One count of theft of a motor vehicle

Mr. Megginson has also been charged with one count of being an occupant in a motor vehicle that was taken without consent. They were both held for bail court.
