Two arrested for break and enter after homeowner calls police

On Dec. 2, 2017, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 27-year-old Angela Flamand and 33-year-old Dallas Daniels of Albert Street West in relation to a break and enter.

It is alleged that just after 5 a.m., the accused attempted to break into a residence in the 400 block of Queen Street East. The homeowners contacted police and officers were able to take both of the accused into custody before they got into the residence.

Upon their arrest, Mr. Daniels was found to be in possession of a set of brass knuckles and a small amount of a substance believed to be fentanyl. 

Ms. Flamand has been charged with one count of break and enter, one count of breach of recognizance, and one count of break of a peace bond. Mr. Daniels has been charged with one count of break and enter, one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and one count of possession of a controlled substance. They will appear in court on Jan. 8, 2018.
