Woman charged in domestic violence incident
On Mar. 5, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 31-year-old female as a result of a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that the accused engaged in a verbal argument with her boyfriend. The argument escalated and the accused assaulted the victim by slapping and scratching him.
The victim left the area and contacted police. Police attended and the accused was arrested a short time later. She has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on Apr. 18, 2018.
