MAN ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING
Last night, police were called to the courthouse parking lot to investigate a report of a man and woman fighting. The female had been brought to the Sault against her will from her home in Azilda, near Sudbury. Mark Anthony Currie, age 37, of Laurier Street, West, in Azilda has been charged with kidnapping, assault, and criminal harassment.
BREAK AND ENTER
At 3:30 this morning, police were called to the Roadhouse Bar and Grill on Trunk Road to investigate a break and enter. Cst. Jason Rains of the canine unit tracked the suspect who was arrested at a residence on Gibb Street. A quantity of alcohol was recovered by police. Mark Taylor, age 21, of McNabb Street was charged with break, enter, theft, and possession of stolen property.
