HE THREATENED TO KILL HER
Last night at 8:04, police were called to 185 Tancred Street, Apt #1, where a complainant advised she had been threatened. The suspect had been drinking and threatened to kill her with a gun. Police erected barricades on Tancred to close off motor and pedestrian traffic. Officers began negotiating with the suspect and at 9:17 p.m., he surrendered without further incident. Police located a .22 cal. rifle at the residence. Arrested was Paul Ziolkowski, age 50, of 185 Tancred, Apt #1. He faces several charges including threatening, assault, and unsafe storage of a firearm. His court date has not yet been set.

DRUNK DAMAGES POLICE CELL
At 2:42 this morning police arrested Joshua Smith, age 19, of 35 Oregon Road for being intoxicated in a public place. After placing the accused in a jail cell at the police station, Mr. Smith caused damage to the cell. He was subsequently charged with mischief. His court date is Jan. 21.
