On Apr. 21, 2017 just after 3 p.m. officers with the Traffic Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Third Line and Allen’s Side Road.

It is alleged that a pick-up truck driven by a 47-year-old male from Hilton Beach was travelling Westbound on Third Line and that the driver of that motor vehicle failed to yield to traffic that was Northbound on Allen’s Side Road.

As a result, that vehicle collided with a motorcycle that was travelling Northbound on Allen’s Side Road.

The driver of the pick-up truck has been charged under section 136 (1) (b) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario for failure to yield to traffic on a through highway.
