Male charged with theft
On Mar. 15, 2017 officers with the Criminal Investigations Division arrested 28-year-old Allan Lance-Smythe of Pine Street in relation to a theft.
It is alleged that on Jan. 9, 2017 the accused attended a business on Great Northern Road where he selected a producted valued at $59 and left the store without paying. At the time, the accused was bound by a probation order with a condition that he keep the peace. Through the investigation, it was also found that the accused had breached another condition of his probation by being out past his curfew.
The accused was identified by officers and located on Mar. 15, 2017. He was arrested and charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and 2 counts of breach of probation. He will appear in bail court today.
