TWO BREAK AND ENTERS City police are investigating 2 business break and enters that occurred yesterday. Thieves cut through the power lines to Traders Metal at 131 Yates Road and forced open the door.

City police are investigating 2 business break and enters that occurred yesterday.

Thieves cut through the power lines to Traders Metal at 131 Yates Road and forced open the door. Once inside they stole a quantity of alcohol and money.

At 3:45 a.m., thieves broke the lock off the door of the Roadhouse Bar and Grill at 743 Trunk Road. They then left and headed toward Manitou Park. The police service K-9 unit tracked the suspects for a period of time before losing their trail. Nothing was reported missing.

A CHILD IS OFFERED A RIDE
During the lunch hour yesterday, an elementary school student in the west end of the city was approached by a male in a red and silver car asking the child if he wanted a ride. The student refused with no further incident and notified school staff.

The suspect is described as an older male with brown hair. Your police service requests that any suspicious activity such as this be reported to them and that parents remind their children to re
