WRONG-WAY ACCIDENT
City police were called to investigate an accident at 1:46 this morning. A 1999 Pontiac Sunfire operated by 18-year-old Sandra Fleming of Panoramic Drive was eastbound on Queen Street and turned left onto Church Street. She then collided with a 1991 Ford Tempo driven by Faye Sabourin, age 25, of Frontenac Street.

The Sabourin vehicle was travelling south on Church Street which is one-way, northbound only. Sabourin has been charged with impaired driving, driving while disqualified, failing to provide a breath sample and failing to remain at the scene of an accident. She will appear in court on May 27.

There were no injuries and damage was light to both vehicles.
