On July 10, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services and Community Oriented Response and Enforcement Units arrested 38-year-old Loretta Carey of Hughes Street for theft under $5,000.
It is alleged on several occasions between April and July 2019 the accused attended businesses in the 200 block of Bay Street, selected items from businesses and left without attempting to pay for them.
Officers located the accused on July 10, 2019 and took her into custody.
She is charged with seven counts of theft under $5,000 and 14 counts of breach of probation. She was held for bail court.
