Teen caught stealing by property owner, police say

Police say the accused was caught with items belonging to the complainant

A Sault teen faces break and enter charges after a weekend incident.

Police say that on Sunday evening, police responded to a break and enter call in the 0-100 block of River Road.

The complainant told officers that they caught the accused coming out of a trailer on their property and that they were holding him for police.

Police say items belonging to the complainaint were found on the accused and he was arrested.

Trevin Rimkey, 18, has been charged with break and enter and theft under $5,000.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 14, 2020.
