Suspects wanted in kidnapping investigation considered armed and dangerous: Police

One person arrested; police actively looking for Caleb Seaton and Tyler McMillan

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are actively looking for 28-year-old Caleb Seaton and 32-year-old Tyler McMillan in connection with a kidnapping and assault with a weapon, involving a firearm.

On Nov. 8, 2019 the victim entered their residence in the 100 block of Huron Street around 2 a.m. At that time, they were confronted by three individuals with firearms. The victim was taken by gunpoint from their residence and driven to an undisclosed area.

At this time, it is alleged the victim was shot, suffering minor injuries. The victim was then taken to the 100 block of Willowdale Street where they were able to contact police.

As a result of the investigation, one person has been arrested and charged with one count of kidnapping while using a firearm, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of pointing a firearm, one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and one count of discharging a firearm with intent.

At this time both Caleb Seaton and Tyler McMillan are wanted and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see them do not approach them, call 911 immediately.
