Suspect sought after recent break and enter, theft

Suspect stole a purse containing identification, debit, and credit cards

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent break and enter and theft, a news release issued by the organization today states. 

On Nov. 18, 2021, at 5:34 a.m., a man attended a residence in the 0-100 block of Chapple Avenue. He then broke into the residence through a window at 6:21 a.m. and was seen leaving the residence at 6:42 a.m., stealing a purse that contained identification, debit, and credit cards. 

Anyone who can identify the suspect with a tip that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
