Suspect charged in relation to west-end break and enter incidents

Police have arrested Randy Ingram in connection to two incidents of break and enter that occurred yesterday in the west end.

In a news release issued today, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that the 28-year-old accused entered homes located on Albert Street West and Gloucester Street.

He was found to be in possession of stolen property at the time of his arrest, police say.

On April 12, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 28-year-old Randy Ingram with break and enter.

It’s alleged around 12 p.m., the accused entered a residence in the 100 block of Albert Street West. At this time it is not believed any property was taken.

Around 1:30 p.m. officers responded to a break and enter in progress in the 200 block of Gloucester Street. Upon arrival, officers located the accused and he was arrested. A subsequent search of the area of arrest found the accused to be in possession of property taken from the residence on Gloucester Street.

He is charged with two counts of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 10, 2021.
