Assault charges and more

On Oct. 23, 2016 Police were called to a residence on Old Goulais Bay Rd. regarding an (allegedly) intoxicated male. 

While at the residence, Police took a complaint of an assault committed and mischief done to a vehicle at the residence. 

As a result of the complaint, 29-year-old Michael Timothy Palanuk of Douglas Ave., Sault Ste Marie was charged with assault and mischief to property under $5,000. 

He will be appearing in Court on Nov. 28, 2016.

On Oct. 22, 2016, an argument between two females took place in the east end of the city.

City Police attended and took a complaint of an assault. It is alleged that one of the females punched the victim and police attended.

City Police arrested Tammy Lynn Morin, age 47, for assault.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28, 2016 at 9 a.m.

On Oct. 22, 2016, City Police were called to a family disturbance.

On attending it was found that a male in the residence had outstanding warrants.

The warrants were dated with the charges dating back to when the male was a young person.

Police arrested the accused, now age 19, for the following charges: theft under $5,000, failing to attend for finger prints and failing to attend court x3.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 29, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
