Sault Police have charged Diane Duguay with impaired driving after responding to a citizen report regarding a woman found sleeping behind the wheel of a running vehicle.

A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states that responding officers located the 58-year-old accused in the 1200 block of Wellington Street East on Saturday at 2:39 p.m. "and developed grounds to believe her ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drugs."

Duguay stands charged with impaired driving – alcohol and drugs and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 28.
