Two face drug and stolen property charges after police located them in a vehicle that was reported stolen in September.

Police say they observed a running vehicle parked in a Churchill Blvd. business's lot at 9:20 p.m. last night.

Upon approaching the vehicle, police determined both the accused were sleeping and could see suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine in view.

Further investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen in September of this year, according to police.

As a result, police arrested Dano Ruttan, 29, and Alisha Theriault, 34.

Both were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Both of the accused are scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 14, 2020.
