Sault woman charged with theft

On Oct. 16, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 30-year-old Stephanie Tanner of Meadow Park Crescent for theft.

It is alleged that the accused attended a store in the 200 block of Northern Avenue where she selected just under $50 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police.

The accused has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000. She will appear in court on Nov. 27, 2017.
