Sault woman caught breaking and entering, police say

A Sault woman, 38, has been charged after police say they caught her breaking and entering.

On Sunday at 2:39 a.m., police responded to a break and enter in progress in the 0-100 block of Chapple Ave.

Police say she attempted to leave the area, but was detained and searched.

Police report finding construction material taken from the property, break-in tools, seven bank cards without her name on them and .26 grams of suspected fentanyl when they searched her.

Crystal-Ann Wagner was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of break in tools, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a controlled substance and nine counts of breach of probation.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 28, 2020.
