Sault woman accused of shoplifting

On June 11, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 44-year-old Heather Rivers of Cambridge Place for theft.

It is alleged that the accused attended a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road where she selected just over $116 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police. 

Officers attended and charged the accused with one count of theft under $5,000. She will appear in court on July 16, 2018.
