Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are actively investigating an occurrence that started on Nov. 24, 2020 after a man died of injuries sustained during the incident.
Police say initial information indicates the man was assaulted in the area of the downtown core by an unknown person or persons.
Police are looking for information regarding the incident that occurred between Nov. 24, 2020 and Nov. 25, 2020.
Next of kin have been notified; however the man’s identity is being withheld during the investigation.
